The popular and scenic Hells Canyon section of the Snake River is what you will run on your Idaho Afloat river rafting vacation. The river runs south to north (see map below.)5 and 6 Day Trips: From the put-in (launch site) at Hells Canyon Creek, you will enjoy 79 miles of gorgeous wilderness backcountry on the , taking out River Mile 79 at the Heller Bar take-out.
3 and 4 Day Trips: You will float 32 miles of the river and take out at Pittsburgh Landing, approximately halfway down the river.
Camping beside the river on your multi-day Idaho Afloat rafting vacation is simply exceptional.
