1 Day Trip Description:

Enjoy one day rafting adventures on the pristine and scenic Lower Salmon River. Taste the great outdoors away from the highway and civilization. The Lower Salmon River offers exciting Class III rapids as well as the Green Canyon, one of the four spectacular canyons on the River. You will see Indian Pictographs, settlers' homesteads, and early Chinese mining sites while on your adventures. Lunch is provided by Idaho Afloat on a white sandy beach where you can take a swim or just take in the view of the beautiful Salmon River. For the adventuresome, we provide inflatable kayaks for playing in Class III rapids.

4 and 5 day Trip Description:

Lower Salmon River - Idaho The Lower Salmon River offers a 71 mile outdoor adventures experience. You will enjoy 53 Salmon River miles plus 18 miles on the Snake River. On the Salmon River, you will be guaranteed a large measure of solitude. It has four spectacularly colorful canyons and is the longest free flowing river in the lower 48 states. It is rated a Class III river. This river does not have water as big as the Snake, however it is a more technical river. Along the river are white sandy camping beaches where you can cool off by swimming and playing in beautiful, clear, cool river pools. Some of the rapids you will experience are Half & Half, Bodacious Bounce, Zig Zag, and Snowhole.
